Andrew C.A. Sedillo, MD
Board-Certified in Adult Psychiatry
Board-Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Conducted approximately 50 Phase II-IV clinical trials in outpatient facilities

Dr. Sedillo serves as the Clinical Director and a Principal Investigator of Segal Institute for Clinical Research in Denver, Colorado. He also provides outpatient and inpatient pediatric and adult psychiatric services for Compass Colorado Health Systems. Dr. Sedillo began his medical training at the University of Monterey Medical School and went on to complete residencies at the University of Texas medical branch, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, General Psychiatry. Dr Sedillo has previously functioned as the Associate Medical Director for the State of Texas (Community Mental Health System), Medical Director for an 80-bed pediatric psychiatric inpatient facility in Kentucky, and Medical Director for Outpatient Services for Deaconess Cross Pointe Hospital in Indiana. He gained 10 years of experience in neuroscience research while acting as the Medical Director for Neurological and Psychiatric Research for Pediaresearch in Kentucky. Dr. Sedillo has had more than 15 works published, including articles in the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Journal. He has conducted more than 50 Phase II-IV clinical trials throughout his career.

Dr. Sedillo has an extensive background in pediatric and adult psychopharmacology, substance abuse treatment, eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, disruptive disorders/ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is Board-Eligible to become a Diplomate of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. His honors include: Delegate, Annual Conference of Chief Residents in Psychiatry and Assistant Chief Resident Appreciation Award, both from the Albert Einstein College. Dr. Sedillo is fully bilingual and successfully conducts his studies in both Spanish and English.

Brian K. Wise, MD, MPH

Dr. Wise is the Medical Director of Compass Colorado Health Systems, an outpatient psychiatric clinic, and Highlands Behavioral Health System, an 86 bed psychiatric hospital treating children, adolescents, and adults located in Denver, Colorado. He completed his training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He has published numerous articles, book chapters, and books. He has also been appointed to task forces sponsored by the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) organizations. Dr. Wise has presented extensively world-wide. He is widely recognized as a national leader in early childhood mental health – diagnosis, therapy, and psychopharmacology – as well as perinatal and postpartum maternal mental health. He revised the Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood – the foremost developmentally sensitive mental health classification system used world-wide.

In addition, Dr. Wise has held positions as consulting editor to the Infant Mental Health Journal and was invited editor for the Journal of Pediatric Psychology. He was invited to write expert columns for ADHD in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for Medscape. He is on the infant and preschool committee of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and is a senior council board member of the Colorado Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Society. He currently serves as an investigator for Segal Institute in outpatient and inpatient clinical trials.
