Eduardo Cifuentes, MD
Board-Eligible in Adult Psychiatry
Conducted over 40 Phase II-IV clinical trials in outpatient and inpatient facilities
Since completing his residency and internship in psychiatry at the University of Kentucky in 2004, Dr. Cifuentes has practiced extensively in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. He is currently a staff psychiatrist at Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health, and he maintains an active outpatient private practice at Compass Carolina Health Systems in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Cifuentes is the lead Investigator at Segal Institute's offices in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Cifuentes has conducted over 40 clinical trials in the majority of psychiatric disorders, including psychotic disorders and mood disorders.
Steven Gerald Lopez, MD
Board-Certified in Adult Psychiatry
Board-Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Conducted approximately 30 Phase II-IV clinical trials in outpatient and inpatient facilities
Dr. Lopez has over 15 years clinical practice experience in outpatient and inpatient psychiatry. In addition to his research activities, Dr. Lopez is Chief Medical Officer of Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Lopez' research experience includes National Institute of Mental Health funded research of multi-systemic therapy. He serves as an Investigator for Segal Institute on a variety of clinical trials, namely with the adolescent population.
Calvin Jonathan Bosman, MD
Dr. Bosman began his studies at Hope College in Holland. Michigan. Prior to completing his Residency in Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Bosman obtained his Medical Degree at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine, as well as obtained a M.S. in Health Psychology at California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Bosman is a committed Subinvestigator at the Charleston, South Carolina outpatient facility. Dr. Bosman is also an integral component to the growing Compass Carolina Health Systems outpatient practice.
