The Principal Investigators at the Segal Institute South Florida sites
conduct Phase II-IV outpatient research studies for most central nervous system
disorders affecting geriatrics. The clinicians at South
Florida
Compass outpatient clinics saw more than 500 geriatric outpatients in 2008.
Depression, mood disorders and insomnia are very common within this age group,
but Alzheimer's disease is the most commonly reported CNS disorder at
the
Compass outpatient sites.
