Segal Institute for Clinical Research's Board-Certified and Board-Eligible
Adolescent and Child Psychiatrists conduct Phase II-IV outpatient research studies
for most central nervous system disorders affecting pediatrics and adolescents.
Similar to its success with the adult population, Segal Institute's vast subject
recruitment is largely due to the large volume of patients treated by the clinicians
at its sister company, Compass Health Systems.
In 2008, approximately 2,000 pediatric and adolescent patients visited
Compass
Health Systems South Florida outpatient clinics, over 400 pediatric and
adolescent patients sought treatment at Compass Colorado Health Systems and
around 400 pediatric and adolescent patients sought treatment
at Compass
Carolina Health Systems.
